Like most American’s we are very upside down on our home. My husband and I thought about walking away, even though we are current on our mortgage and able to pay the monthly payment, but after going over all the pros and cons, we decided to stay in our 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 1131sq feet home with our 2 kids ages 6 and 4 and one dog. This was our first home, which we purchased 10 years ago and now with 2 kids, a dog and 10 years of stuff we feel like we are definitely outgrowing this home. Yeah, we hoped that this was our starter home and would eventually sell it for a profit to put down on our dream home, but since that is no longer happening anytime soon, I need to start eliminating 10 years of clutter and really start organizing this home. I feel like I’m constantly cleaning stuff up or searching for toys or craft supplies for my kids instead of hanging out and doing stuff with them. I decided to start this blog to help me through this journey, to make sure I complete all the projects on my to do list. Here is my current to do list and it will probably grow and hopefully shrink as I cross things off. Stay tune for before and after photos.
